About Me
Based in Guildford, I am an experienced creative arts therapist and systemic & family psychotherapist established in private practice since 1996, specialising in Dramatherapy and Family Therapy in Surrey, London, Berkshire, Hampshire and Sussex. I also travel throughout the UK and abroad.
My practice is DDP informed. DDP stands for Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. This means the focus of my work is on relationships and is underpinned by an understanding of attachment and trauma and their impact on the neurobiology of the brain.
I work with a wide range of issues including: anxiety, attachments, relationship problems, stress, depression, trauma, abuse, self-esteem, bereavement, self-development.
“I believe in the power of the arts to re-invigorate lives, support mental health, attachment and improve community cohesion.”
I have designed, managed and led evidence-based and independently evaluated projects for numerous local authorities. I’ve reached thousands of families and my projects have featured in national and professional publications.
